Valentine's Day

The Kiss
by
Alex Grey

This is the cover of the 2012 calendar I got for us for Valentine's Day.

These beautiful pendents were recently gifted to us.
(Thank you Marcos!)
They are both examples of sacred geometry.
The one on the left was given to Bob. Its Metatron's Cube.

This is a close up of the one given to me, its a Sri Yanka (or sri chakra).

I remember our first kiss.
I don't know the exact date or place, but I remember the electricity.
*the spark
It was amazing.
Like soul mates reuniting.
We found each other, and all was right in the world.

sunset 7/25/11

Monday was a nice night, finally a little break from this heat wave. I had not been feeling well and spent the weekend mostly in bed. By Monday I was ready to get out of the house. Normally, if we go to Cobbs Hill we walk around the reservoir. But this time we just sat on a blanket over the dead dry grass and watched the sun set over our beloved city. We made each other laugh, and commented on the contrast of the geometric cityscape and fractal nature of the trees around us. We discussed future plans and past memories. We sat quietly and soaked up the last few rays of sunlight. To end our evening we went and got ice cream.  I really adore spending quality time like this with my soul mate. Moments like this are what its all about.

The water was rough, but the sun was shining.

God was here
  God is here

      God is everywhere

The water was rough, but the sun was shining.

We went for a drive to the lake today. We stopped at Shutts for fried cakes and apple cider and took them to the park. There was no nature walk, it was causing too much pain. I was just grateful to feel the sun on my face and watch the waves crash in for a little while.
